I am Charlie Blue author, writer of comic books and animation films.

I am the creator of Smarty Pants and Johny Rat, books dedicated to children.

I was born in Lisbon in 1962, my parents named me Carlos... (Charlie) I grew up watching comics and animation films created by Charles M. Schulz cartoonist and the creator of the comic strip Peanuts, featuring what are probably his two best-known characters, Charlie Brown and Snoopy. At some point I started signing my works with the pseudonym Charlie Blue, inspired by the character Charlie Brown.
